Welcome to The Renaissance.

— Exploring new works —

The 15,468 square foot warehouse at 415 E Princeton Street in Orlando is the new permanent home of Renaissance Theatre Company.

Thursday, February 11, 2021 was the day our good friend Landon sent over a logo design for “Renaissance Theatre Company,” which didn’t really exist yet. A few hours later, we saw that this warehouse near Loch Haven Park on Princeton was for sale. Somebody said, “well...

that should really be a theatre.”

Seven months later, around 5 PM, we met up at the building to get the keys to the front door. It became our stage door, and the building is home to Renaissance Theatre Company (which exists now btw).

Renaissance Theatre finds home near Loch Haven Park

🚀 A new anchoring theatre in Orlando.

“New works only.” We keep our spaces flexible enough to transform into anything we can imagine, from a traditional stage with about 150 seats to, well, an immersive vampire vice bar with a stage that looked sort of like a boxing ring. We actively renovate the spaces as we go to include lobby/bar spaces for pre/post-show events and cabarets, rehearsal spaces that can house smaller performances or developmental staging for new works, shops for construction and storage of scenic, prop, and costume elements, as well as dressing room spaces for performers. Sometimes we open up every square foot of the building to create incredibly immersive new theatrical experiences.

🪚 Makers needed to help us build.

We're always building our list of artists to collaborate with—actors, technicians, designers, and all y'all. Email us and tell us what you're good at.

COVID-19 Prevention Policy

Okay. Your friends at Renaissance Theatre Company think most humans should be fully vaxed and boosted against COVID-19, and it’s not safe to come to the Ren otherwise. Yes, still. We have stopped checking for proof at the door following the lead of Broadway theatres in NYC which all switched to a different process in 2022. To be clear, we want all of our visitors to be vaccinated and up-to-date with their boosters. Don’t be the asshole who goes to places where they aren’t welcome? Periodt again.
