THE REN
Founded in 2021, Renaissance Theatre Company is a new non-profit theatre company dedicated to creating and developing original theatrical experiences in Orlando and beyond, with intentional focus on fair pay for artists, highlighting diverse perspectives, environmental sustainability, and creating Theatre in new and innovative ways.

Hey y'all!
Welcome back to the Ren! Thanks for coming to Laughs In Spanish, our second show of 2025! I hope you love it. The Ren produces only original and unique work, and I hope you'll come and see more shows.

WHO’S WHO
Marisol Robles (Mari) A military brat originally from Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, Latin Actress and Singer Marisol Robles has honed her artistic skills and love for storytelling for over a decade. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico with a BFA in Theater and a BA in Journalism.
Since moving to Central Florida, Marisol is an award-winning actress and filmmaker that has appeared as a principal actor in several commercials and industrials for companies such as USAA, Secret, AdventHealth, Tropicana, Bank of America, Checkers, Outback, Sling TV, Dr. Scholl's and Universal Studios. Marisol has also starred in numerous independent films, recently working opposite Jessie T. Usher in a scripted television series, all while continuing to study her craft with esteemed acting coaches Dennis Neal, Chris Greene and Rus Blackwell. She also studied improv at the notable SAK Comedy Club in Orlando.
Angela Cotto (Estella) is very excited to be a part of Laughs in Spanish at Renaissance Theatre. She recently worked with DescolonizArte on Una Mujer de Malas as Rosita, and Dolores in Our Lady of the Tortilla. She has also collaborated with other theatres in Central Florida, including Orlando Opera’s Daughter of the Batallion and Orlando Shakes’ In The Heights. Other notable roles include Amazing Mayzie in Seussical, Abuela in In The Heights, and Sister Hubert in Nunsense. Angela has had the opportunity to direct, music direct and choreograph numerous shows including Heathers, the Musical, A Chorus Line, Assassins, In the Heights and The Life: A New Musical, as well as many Orlando Fringe Festival productions. She wants to thank her partner Damion, and her son Kell for always supporting her passions.
Isabel Bernal (Caro) is very excited to be a part of Laughs in Spanish at The Renaissance Theatre. Some of her favorite past credits include Mimi Marquez in Rent (Athens Theatre), the bartender/ Singer swing in 24 (The Ren), and Lucille/ Elf Ellen in Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! (Orlando Family Stage). You can also catch her as the drink slinging singer in Boots! right here at The Ren. She would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support.
Jonathan Gardon (Juan) is so excited to make their professional debut with The Ren for Laughs in Spanish. He has previously worked in Entertainment at Universal Studios Orlando Resort as a character performer and is currently working as a stage manager for Orlando Family Stage’s production of Guys and Dolls Jr. as a collaboration with OCA’s Running Man Theater. Previous credits while attending the University of Central Florida for their BFA in acting include The Cherry Orchard (Firs), Metamorphoses (Phaeton and others), The Interference (Teammate #2 and others), and Race to Infinity (Samuel). He wants to thank his family for their endless support and his friends for always being there for him.
Danielle Bloom (Jenny) is a triple air sign who has been gracing Central Florida stages for the past decade. She was most recently seen on stage in "Everyone's Fine with Virginia Woolf" with Whiskey Theatre Factory and last year at the Ren in "24" and "MILK". More commonly she can be found trying not to swear on mic in front of tourists at Universal's Islands of Adventure. She is also the proud producer of the Bombshells Cosplay, a non-profit organization that uses cosplay to inspire confidence in our communities.
